Join us for a magical night at the theater! Fossil Ridge Public Library invites you on a special trip to downtown Chicago to experience the Broadway sensation, Disney’s The Lion King, live on stage!
Date: Wednesday, October 8
Departure: 4:00 p.m. from the Library
Dinner Break: Enjoy about an hour to dine near the theater before the show
Showtime: 7:00 p.m.
Estimated Return: 11:30 p.m.
Ticket Lottery Details
Due to limited seating, tickets will be available through a lottery for a chance to purchase up to two tickets at a heavily discounted rate*.
Entry Period: Monday, September 2 – Monday, September 9
Eligibility: Open to Fossil Ridge Library cardholders in good standing
Limit: One entry per person
Notification: Winners will be contacted by phone and must finalize registration within two days
Tickets: Each winner may purchase up to two (2) tickets
- Both attendees must have active Fossil Ridge Library Cards
- Both must sign a bus trip waiver
- Patrons can either come to the library with their library card (in good standing) or call the library to enter the raffle.
- Lottery winners will be contacted on Wednesday, September 10th.
- If lottery winners do not finalize registration* within two (2) days of notification, their tickets will be given to the winners of a second lottery drawing.
- This is a children’s event
- Adult lottery winners can bring one (1) child guest with them (must be age 15 or younger).
* - Finalization of registration includes completed waivers for all guests attending and payment in full (cash or debit card)

- $30 per child (Ages 5–15)
- $50 per adult (Ages 16+)
