Welcome to the Fossil Ridge Public Library's Children's Department, where we offer a variety of activities, resources, and programs to inspire and engage young minds. Whether your child loves storytime, exploring new gadgets, or needs resources for homeschooling, we have something for everyone!

Storytimes and Beyond
Come to the library for a fun, hands-on math adventure! "Crazy 8's Math" is perfect for kids who love to create, build, solve puzzles, and explore math in exciting, unexpected ways.
Join us for Play-Doh Playdates! Toddlers can squish, sculpt, and create while building their fine motor skills and imagination. All materials will be provided; just drop in and play. Registration is recommended for ages 2-6.

Let's learn our ABCs! "Little Learners" is a fun, weekly program where preschoolers can master the alphabet through stories, music, and a craft. Join us as we explore the wonderful world of letters, one week at a time.

Toddler time is a playful, developmentally focused program for children 6 months to 4 years. Through this free play program, toddlers will build their gross and fine motor skills, as well as early social skills in a fun environment.

We support parents and at-home educators with our extensive homeschool collection. This includes curriculum guides, educational resources and interactive learning tools.
Green Guardian Volunteer Program
Join our Green Guardian Volunteer Program and become part of the care team for our friendly library pet iguana, Grogu!
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
This initiative is designed to help you raise a lifelong reader by encouraging you to read aloud to your child. Log books you read together and get prizes for milestones!
Other reading programs include our Summer Reading Program and Winter Reading Challenge.
