This presentation, led by Charles Lyons, a renowned expert on Lincoln’s life and times, promises to provide invaluable insights into this pivotal moment in history.

Attendees of this event will have the privilege not only of hearing the fascinating history but also of seeing and interacting with a selection of authentic artifacts and relics from that era. These tangible remnants of the past serve as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices and struggles faced during this transformative period in American history.

Charles Lyons has been a lifelong follower of the American Civil War and Abraham Lincoln. After graduating from Blackburn College with a degree in public speaking, he began studying the Civil War.

In 1997, Chuck became a fully licensed funeral director and embalmer. It was his love of this profession and his love for history that brought the program on the Death and Grand Funeral of Abraham Lincoln. He presented the program in his funeral home for 5 years. Since his retirement, he has presented this program at many venues, along with period relics.
