Charles Lyons has been a life long follower of the American Civil War and Abraham Lincoln. After
graduating from Blackburn College with a degree in public speaking he began studying the Civil
war .
In 1997 chuck became a fully licensed funeral director and embalmer, it was his love of this
profession and his love for history that brought the program on the Death and Grand Funeral of
Abraham Lincoln. He presented the program in his funeral home for 5 years. Since his
retirement he has presented this program in many venues along with relics from the period.
