WHAT'S NEW

The public is cordially invited to attend a reception introducing Richard Ashley the new director of Fossil Ridge Public Library District, January 26th 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The Fossil Ridge Public Library District is pleased to introduce Richard Ashley as our new Director. Richard began his library career 18 years ago, serving as Head of Adult Services at Fossil Ridge for the past two years.

“In the time I have worked at the library I have come to know our communities and their needs” Rich stated. “I have experienced first hand the very real difference quality library services can make in the lives of our patrons.”

He received his bachelor’s in Plant and Soil Science from Southern Illinois University –Carbondale and his master’s degree in Library Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison. His reading interests include science fiction, fantasy, and literary fiction.
