Key Responsibilities

• Lead adult and teen services, including programming, outreach, and readers’ advisory.
• Develop, manage, and promote adult and teen collections.
• Assist our Marketing and Communications Specialist on digital content, including website updates, social media, brochures, bibliographies, and newsletters.
• Serve as Person-in-charge in the Director’s absence, overseeing daily library operations, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent service to all library users.
• Work closely with other departments to improve library-wide services and foster meaningful connections with local schools and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program preferred but not required.
• At least two years of experience in adult or teen programming, including two years in a supervisory position.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to a vehicle for library business.
