Babysitting ClinicSaturday, April 14 from 10am to 1pm
Joan O’ Malley from the American Heart Association will present a babysitting class that will discuss the roles and responsibilities of a babysitter as well as basic first aid. Must be age 10 (5th grade) or older. Limited class size. Free. Registration in person only. Fossil Ridge residents only. Participant must attend all day to receive a certificate. Please bring a sack lunch and doll (no stuffed animals).
Beauty Revolution
Licensed Esthetician Anna LaTour returns to Fossil Ridge this spring with her extremely popular Beauty Revolution series for pre-teen and teen girls. These classes will inspire girls to make positive choices and form habits that will give them a healthy self-image and help them feel beautiful inside and out. Contact the Library for dates and times.
T-Shirt Transformations
February 9th and 23rd
Bring an oversized t-shirt to this class and we’ll show you how to transform it into a shirt you’ll love to wear! Sample shirts on display at the library. Classes are free, call or come in to sign up. Grades 6-12.

Teen Art Exhibit March 23rd &24th
Fossil Ridge Public Library is seeking talented high school and middle school artists to participate in our second annual Teen Art Exhibit. Artists may submit up to five works from any medium. No entry fee is required, though submission forms (one per piece) are needed and available at the Library and here. Art work will be judged by professional artists and prizes will be awarded.
Completed forms must be submitted by March 1st, and corresponding art works by March 19th.
Art will be on display March 23rd and 24th during Library hours.
The public is invited to an Artist’s Reception on March 24th 11am – 2pm
Meet the participating artists and enjoy refreshments.
Family Fossil Hunt
Saturday April 21st
Meeting at the Library -9am before driving to Mazonia.
Waiver must be signed and $5 fee per person must be paid at time of registration. Kindergarten age or younger is free. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact the library for more info.
